I designed my poster with meshes that represent each part of who I am and they are connected with each other like I am with both cultures. I chose the picture of the beach which is called ‘Progreso’ because it reminds me of when I was a teenager. I used to go with my friends to spend the summer every year and everybody was there. In addition, is a place that I still enjoy with my family and friends every time I have the opportunity. 

I also selected a traditional dish that is called ‘Frijol con Puerco’ as it represents the local gastronomy of my hometown. Their ingredients blend together to make an incredible flavor. It’s my favorite dish and it’s usually eaten on Mondays by most families in Yucatan. 

My last picture is the incredible view of Lake Michigan as it reminds me of the vacations I spent with my family when I was a child. Nowadays, I enjoy the view while I’m doing exercise and spending time with friends.
